Great news.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Why would a talent strapped outfit like Forking Amazing reopen a waterlogged rental property, that is only going to flood again?  Can you say Black Mold? Should have taken the insurance money and ran.  Once the blush is off Cowford and its  honeymoon is over, about late June or so,  we will be in for some entertaining times.

^Judging by the weeknight crowd it has, I think it has more staying power than you are suggesting.

Since Bistro Aix was a struggling restaurant before a flood that happens every year, I completely get your point.

Drove by Cowford last night at 7 30 and it was BUSY...  It is one of a kind downtown and right between the Hyatt and Omni .....

Aix always had a loyal following. No doubt it was properly demoed as needed...I think he used Danis to to do rebuild, and I think they did Chophouse, so I expect great new interior.  Re-Opening February 8 and I will go first chance I get.

We went last night for the reopening and it was pretty busy. Everything was excellent including the service which was a pleasant surprise as best I could determine, the entire staff was new. We didn't go to Il Desco so not sure if anyone came over.

The Klempfs were there and seemed pleased.

Just dropped in for quick Happy Hour treat.

Loved it.  2 glasses red wine, one bubbly rose, blue cheese chips for $20.00

I'll def go back for dinner soon. It was busy. LOUD!

Also interior space was much improved, lighter and brighter.
