MISSING: Times-Union Business Section

Yesterday, The Florida Times-Union featured MetroJacksonville.com on the cover of the Business section in an article about organizations that have had an impact on positive change in downtown.  However, don’t try finding this section in any paper downtown.  After purchasing newspapers from 12 different newspaper vending machines downtown, Metro Jacksonville could not find one newspaper that had a business section in it.  In each paper, the business section was missing. In fact, the closest place that we could find a business section was several miles away in the far remote part of Jacksonville called Five Points.Who would perpetrate such as heinous act? We have our theories...

JTA was not off yesterday.  They were working, so they couldn't have had time to steal the Business section ou of the local papers Downtown.

They were probably running a Sunday schedule, giving them time to sneak a few people out....the plot thickens

Have you tried to contact the TU about this? I would think this insert in the paper would be vitally important to the downtown population. Seeing as it is abut downtown advocacy and improving life for downtown residents and workers. I really doubt there is a conspiracy going on, but it is strange...

Did I say "tricking"?? Ha ha ha! I'll mention this strange coincidence in my post today on the article.

Does anyone have a copy of the section in question from another part of town? Is it possible it wasn't in any papers throughout the entire city of Jacksonville?

I made a few calls and I have learned that the business sections in Mondays paper  were removed by aliens.  This information was reported to authorities by several individuals enjoying the evening in the bushes around hemming plaza.  According to their reports, the news delivery man was zapped with a cosmic ray rendering him motionless and causing severe memory loss.  It is reported that several small beings with big heads (first thought to be the mayor and his staff) were seen removing the business sections of the paper.  With documents in hand they were seen to enter their space ship and dart into the night skies.  The motive of these beings remains unknown and authorities have been unable to come up with any further clues or information.  Except for one report claiming that the tiny beings were wearing "Beerman for Mayor" t shirts.

In front of the word interview .

As a team we do a good job.

As a team we do a job.

As a team we do an excellent job.

Stings a little without an adjective.

I am also a little disturbed you accused me of leaving the rest of paper.

I am not surprised, they tried doing this to the Burns blitzlers many years ago. Some people are against progress. Next they will object to a riverwalk on the southbank or to getting a professional football team for the city. Look for little old men, on their walkers, and with their scooters, probably with old Tanzler T shirts on. They will be led by Warren Folks who probably wants still to have the only barbershop downtown. Ask Andy Johnson, he probably knows all about the plot.
