Any idea what the plans look like for 1050 Edgewood?

I feel like Edgewood doesn't need another coin laundry place. there's already two right near there and they're both always empty.

Really hoping La Nop will take full advantage of that great space and not put up all those typical, but tacky, decorations you often see in a Mexican restaurant.

Put this on your radar:

More good news to come . . .

Christy Frazier (Art Bar, The Pearl, Birdies) has been buying up the old warehouse district to create an entertainment district as her lasting legacy.  Last I heard, she had already acquired three of the buildings looking towards getting them renovated and put back into use again.

Its great news.

Glad to see that she is finally ready to start sharing it.

So is this the exciting news for Springfield you couldn't divulge before? This sounds like a really cool and exciting project!

Hmmmmm . . .

"The 5,500-seat amphitheater and flex field, which will be used for an indoor practice facility, as well as an events and entertainment venue, have been portrayed as a "game changer" by owner Shad Khan."

Portrayed? Portrayed ?!?

That's a curiously skeptical choice of word; not sure I've seen that skepticism employed elsewhere on this website when discussing either major or minor developments in the urban core, especially where said development brings something new and exciting to town.

Some benefit of the doubt here from MetroJax would be a nice touch.

Looked open over this past weekend, at least for drinks.

The Elements side is open now. It's a really nice upscale bistro/bar. Got a chance to tour the Myth (club) side and I was impressed.
