I've been to a show there.  Very cool place.  It would be nice to see some things spring up around it.  Right now there's a whole lot of nothingness.

^This is Exhibit A on when revitalizing a historic district, you don't just save the best buildings and demolish the rest. The Theatre is awesome, but I wouldn't exactly call the area around it...happening. It's aware between two surface freeways (State and Union) with no buildings nearby (save for the Jacksonville Urban League office building).
