The infill on N. Liberty Street are net-zero single family homes. The foundations should be installed soon, permits were being pulled yesterday.

Bill, when is Ardy's set to open?

Is The Buddha Bar/Indochine going into Square One?
So I said to him: Arthur, Artie come on, why does the salesman have to die? Change the title; The life of a salesman. That's what people want to see.

Yes, the Buddha Bar/Indochine is taking over the Square One building.

The area covered for Riverside/ Avondale is enormous. Metro-Diner will be more than 6.5 miles from the city center. The areas of coverage for Springfield, DT, and San Marco are much smaller. All of the san Marco developments are about a half mile from eachother and a mile and a half from the city center.

The only piece of news from my neck of the woods is that the giant Thrift Store on Beach at Atlantic has shut down in that building and is moving to a new location. I am hoping and praying that something cool goes in there. Since the DMV And clerk of court that were on beach have moved downtown, that strip center has been extra vacant. Maybe the Thrift Store is moving there.

The Times-Union has added information about the Hawkers Asian Street Fare coming to Five Points.

Quote
The owners of popular Orlando-based Hawkers Asian Street Fare appear to be planning to bring their two-year-old concept to Jacksonville’s Five Points.

Posts on Jacksonville message boards and the restaurant’s Facebook page indicate Hawkers plans a restaurant in Five Points.

The Thrift Store moved to the old Food Lion on Emerson a few weeks ago.

The burger-themed restruant is going right next to Burger King, isn't that kinda redundant?

They've been working on that roundabout in San Marco for about six months now. What's up with that? Are they laying infrastructure underneath it or something? (perhaps electrical or plumbing)

And I hope those new clubs and restaurants coming to 5-points are going to be affordable.

Would you say putting a Ruth's Chris next to a Steak Out is redundant?? No. They target two different types of customers and offer very different levels of service. They should both be fine.

They are making a new public park in the middle of the square:

as a matter of fact, yes....and there was an issue between JEA and the contractor that slowed things down a few weeks....but the roundabout is now open to traffic
