Commuter Rail Stations: How far apart should they be?

Many believe that commuter rail stations must be spaced, on average, at least 5 miles apart.  However, the most efficient systems space their stations according to the needs of each corridor.  Not all commuter rail lines operate under these parameters.

The distant should depend on the stops and locations. The CR Stations should go to places where there is actually activity (places to shop/neighborhoods/office buildings) running the stations to parking lots is a waste IMO. Example: Jefferson Station & King Avenue Station.

I get more pissed off with every article I read on this site. How Jax can be so inept when many places any the country use their brains is ridiculous.

We keep running these articles every now and then just as a reminder to let everyone know that we're not backing down on this.  Hopefully, one day we can finally prick JTA's heart and they'll realize that they can save money and will be better off by integrating rail transit where the tracks and right-of-way already exist.

I think he gets pissed off because our transit authority is failing us.
