How cool...a labyrinth is an excellent way to deal with questions and relaxation.

Wonderful project - and Pastor Ham and Pastor Vicki are wonderful people.  I know they need volunteer to help with construction this weekend - I hope to be there and hope other Metrojacksonville readers will pitch in, too.

So cool! Definitely a nice addition to the neighborhood.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

TU article:

St. Johns Lutheran Church has received a grant to build a permanent prayer labyrinth and garden, and the church wants it to belong to the community.

"A labyrinth isn’t a religious symbol, it’s a spiritual symbol," said project lead Shawn McGuire.

"There would be no reason to walk in the labyrinth if there’s no connection to spirit/self. Whatever one’s religion or beliefs, walking the labyrinth clears the mind and gives insight."

The project has been in the planning stages for months but construction will be completed this weekend. It will be made of Tennessee field stone and liriope to outline the paths and half inch brown pea gravel to line the paths.
