Lion's Gate coming to World Golf Village



World Golf Village is on the verge of becoming a retail mecca with Lion's Gate and the Esplande developments.  Here is a sneak peak of the Lion's Gate site plan.

The entire World Commerce Center loop is being filled by truckload after truckload of dirt.  Lion's Gate is only a portion of what appears to be bigger plans for that area.

Uggh.  Progress for the sake of progess.  With real-estate companies being at 90% of capacity right now, I wonder where the demand for this type of housing/development is coming from.

Housing starts in Austin Tx down 20% for 2007.  What's the number for Jacksonville for 2007?
