3 straight home games in September. That will be pleasant.

On the flipside, the last 10 weeks of the season only have 3 games in Jax. Not good...we need to get on a roll playing at home so that we're comfortable for our home playoff run.

Strictly from a competitive standpoint, i think it is pretty good despite the road heavy second half. The brutal  90+ September home games should favor the  Jags and the London setting should help against Eagles. The Pats tend to get much better as the season goes along, so I like the week 2 match up for the Jags instead of later (unless it was really late and they have the East wrapped up as usual). I like the second bye week (Colts) before the short week Thursday night game too.

From a Season Ticket perspective, I give it an F. But if it leads to more wins, I will take it.

Only thing I would point out is the past few years have shown the Jags do have a legit advantage in London. Even though not in Jacksonville, they do seem to have a home field advantage.

And I do get the sense that the Dolphins game will have a ton of Jags fans.

Sure sure. Definitely agree that London has become a home field advantage. Just pointing out the travel difficulties and lack of settling in to TIAA Bank since we will want to be comfortable for our two home playoff games before the super bowl.  ;)

That schedule is pretty scary (esp the first half). We have a very talented team though, and luckily no West Coast road games. :)

The Jags have the 6th easiest schedule. With 3 straight home games, they need to get off to a hot start.

The "easiest schedule" prognostication is often wrong because the fortunes of the teams change so much, year to year.

We need to win early in the heat, we need to win in London, we need to have announced that we own the AFC South before that last month+ of games begin. Meaning: hopefully the other three teams beat up each other and are just below .500 and we are well above that percentage by December.

How great was it that last night didn't seem like the Jags Superbowl?  Very pleased with the pick at 29 especially with DT an automatic 2019 cut due to cap constraints.

It was nice not to care about the top of the draft although for a moment I thought The Colts were going to get Chubb. The gift bag of picks from the Jets was bad enough.

WTF

Jaguars needs.    O line.  Line backer.  Wide receiver.  Back up QB.

WTF.
