About two weeks ago on March 13-15 the 20th Anniversary of Concourse d'Elegence was held on Amelia Island.
The annual auction, one of many of events, broke all previous records. Maybe, the real sign that the recession is over? Over $60 million in sales according to the latest press release. Gizmag pegged the total car sales over the course of the three day event at over $100 million.
The highest selling car was a 1960 Ferrari 400 Superamerica SWB Cabriolet. It sold for $6.3 million. 23 other cars sold for a wimpy million dollars.
