The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) has received 625 TIGER grant applications for 2015. They combine to add up to $9.8 billion, almost 20 times the $500 million set aside for the program. The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) has submitted an application of their own in hopes of getting a small piece of the pie. Here's a look at how JTA plans to transform Jacksonville's streets if the are successful this round.
