Major construction projects have returned to the landscape of Jacksonville's urban core. Find out where (and more) as we take a brief look at the status of various developments under construction in and around Downtown Jacksonville during the month of June.
11. Greyhound Bus Station
The Jacksonville Transportation Authority, in coordination with Greyhound, plans to construct a new $6 million bus terminal on West Adams Street, near Johnson Street. According to the initial plan, Greyhound would pay $46,000 each year for a 40-year lease on the new building, which would be completed in 2014. However, Greyhound does not want to open without other transit uses along with them. Thus, construction of the new terminal has been delayed.
