Via FacebookI debated on whether or not to post this but here it goes: A woman was brutally attacked last Friday near Five Points around 8:30 by 3 men in a car (she was on her bike). The nature of the attack was completely random and it happened in our backyard! Please be EXTRA careful while walking to your cars at night. NotNow. any Idea which detective would be handling this case in order to report any leads?
The detectives listed on the report are Detective D.L. Crews #7443 (sex crimes) and Detective Cullen #5875 (Robbery)
would they be the ones who are investigating the case or does someone else handle it after the initial report?

Ugh, what an awful frightening story. Thank you for reminding me to re-ignite my street smarts. It sucks, but you really do have to watch your back. My heart goes out to that woman...  |

This is an unfortunate example of why it is NOT safe for Women to be out at that hour by themselves. I feel just horrible after reading everything that happened to her, and I hope the suspects are found and thrown behind bars where they belong. Preferably a tight cell with Men who don't take kindly to a Man, let alone 3 Men, laying even so much as a finger on a Lady.
I make it my responsibility to lend a safe walk to any female associates at my workplace, including customers, when it is dark out. I urge everyone to please use caution and street smarts when out and about on the streets. Are you going to do a little late night grocery shopping? Bring a friend with you, and please protect yourself.

Yeahhhhh, I'm just going to be thankful for our crackheads in Springfield, no one's been beaten with bricks and raped or been followed home from a bar and had their eyes cut out of their sockets over here.

Rape can occur in the DAYTIME too. Caution isn't jsut for night time.
