Commuter Rail Demonstration visits Jacksonville



On Saturday, March 10th, two self propelled transit DMU's were on display outside of the Prime Osborn Convention Center. Built by Colorado Railcar (http://www.coloradorailcar.com/), cars such as these can operate on existing rail infrastructure in Jacksonville.

Great photo tour.   It was certainly depressing to see the poor turnout by local media.  Especially for something that could revolutionize the future of our region.

WOW!  This is great!  Lets get this thing going!

Lets see how our elected officials screw this one up.  That's exactly what we need, running from downtown to Orange Park, to Southside, to the Beaches, to the Airport... It'd be the best transit system in the state!
