Helmet - Unsung - 1991
IMHO, One of the best post hardcore bands. Plus the drummer is now in battles and still ruling.

Watching the Edie Brickell video all I could think was more cowbell! I love Portishead but the new album bites. Helmut rocks as do Smashing Pumpkins!

Not sure how the Catherine Wheel's been left off this list.  I don't consider this to be their best song but I chose to post it because it features Tanya Donnelly (of Throwing Muses and Belly fame).

One More,  The Chills "Male Monster from The Id".  Youtube has appeared to have deleted the videos in response to the lawsuit, but MTV still has it.  Unfortunately you have to sit through an ad to get to the song...
