Track the drastic changes by Month since Jan 2007. It says we were at 8.5% in Sept. Florida counties are well over 11% unemployment today.

Man, that map is quite scary.

It's definitely not a fun time to be a job seeker.

After being laid off last September and having to get by on contract work for over a year, I accepted a full-time, permanent position yesterday. Couldn't be happier.

Yeah I'd say it's pretty much the standard for some of us to get 10-20 rejection letters before finally getting a job offer. 2009 will not be missed!
