seems to me the government is always a few steps behind the smartest bad guys. the collective shrug at the nsa getting hacked was disturbing. amazing people have never stopped to think that regardless of whether or not the government should be collecting massive amounts of data on us, they likely can't keep the information safe.
all that said, regardless of the need for such technology, how difficult would it be to commandeer these drones? if they fall into the wrong hands, how hard could they be to replicate?
maybe my ignorance on the subject is making me paranoid, but this seems a precursor to some terrifying, sci-fi sounding possibilities when this technology inevitably spreads outside the US and becomes cheaper and easier to make.
