How late are they open Brian? BTW, have you tried ANCHOR STEAM beer Pilsner or Porter, from San Francisco? Anchor is strong stuff - bold as hell flavor - tends toward you either LOVE IT or you will HATE IT. No room for middle ground. Sold in better stores, sometimes found in Publix. Also Leopard Lager from New Zeland, the only Lager I've ever enjoyed. Tsing Tao is also awesome.

You don't know european streets closing times?  I hope this doesn't means that you have never been there before.  European street is definitly one of the unique parts of jacksonville.  Great food, great beers, and great live music.

You got me Civil, I've been to the beach haunts, from Singletons to Buckets, Joes to Sneakers and "the Lemon Bar"... but Riverside? Not yet, long drive from the beaches area. My retirement keeps me on the short trips.. Perhaps I'll get the chance soon. Also FYI, I'm from JAX but have spent the last many years in South America. VIVA LA REPUBLICA DE COLOMBIA!

Brian and Susan, A hearty Riverside WELCOME! And are you a sight for thirsty eyes! I live about 6 blocks away and will enjoy visiting and sampling beer that isn't "StellaBud".Still learning my finer ales and Lagers. Love unfiltered wheat beers.(Sediment..YEA!)And If someone doesn't get the growler idea..oh well..you lose.I think a gallon Growler will fit nicely under my scooter seat.Hope to meet my neighbors at the Soft opening. I think it was called  Bold City Rye Pale Ale. It was a little hoppy with a light taste of Orange, very light in color and went down quite easily. Did I mention it was strong, I was told the alcohol content was around 6.25%. Definitely worth trying.

Hi Everyone,
FREE BEER, ROUND 2! Let's close out the summer with the Bold City White Ale. We will be doing the event again this Friday 9/19/08. Same location (European Street Cafe in Riverside), different beer (Bold City White Ale). We’ll have two 15.5 gallon kegs, first will be tapped @ 5pm. Be Bold.

Cheers,
    Brian

Hey David,
It's a little softer. Around 4.8%. See you Friday!
