Having spent some time in SLC for work, I can attest to the fact that this commuter rail is going to be Godsend for those that live outside the metro area. The number 1 complaint my coworkers have is about traffic, especially in the UT winters. It can take someone well over an hour to travel no more than 20 miles...which is probably why it's not uncommon to see someone bundeled up in ski gear riding on their mountain bike to work.
