Great renditions Jason! All I see missing is the smokestack/boiler at the back of the Auditorium.
Im curious as to whether or not the plan spares the auditorium. As I understand it from the various preservation organizations, leaving it pretty much in its footprint allows for the most historic funding . I guess my concern is the Auditorium staying ,, To me that room was the most beautiful part of the interior of the School, and I think lends promise to the reuse by having concerts/movies/events there ..With the grande Stage at the back, I can envision this treasure , restored as it once was .
For that Matter, I can see through the destruction, and tell this was a state-of-the art School Building for its time .

Assuming the auditorium sits in the center of the building there should be no reason to get rid of it.

Jason...please review the multimedia on it over at Jaxoutloud It shows an extensive tour inside and out.
It is my hope the Auditorium could remain. I think it is one of the most beautiful parts of the interior. (envisioning it as it was.. I saw it once 20 years ago , completely intact. It was awesome!)
This is by far the best Idea ive heard for the School. I hope a way is found.

If you used Annie Lyttle as a transit terminal you could go right under the highway to riverside park straight down Margret street to memorial park. This would connect one of best(actually the best) pedestrian areas in town and three great TODs with the skyway system. shopping, dinning and living funky and mainstream versions of each plus two parks. This route would also keep the "space age" skyway from being right outside of someones 1920's home. The trolley proves we realize some need for transit here. I think you would be talking about one mile of skyway from Brooklyn to memorial park via Annie Lyttle to an area that already supports pedestrian activity.
