It's not too early to plan on racing next summer.

It was a blast, sailing up Friday, hanging out in Palatka, and then sailing back to the Rudder Club, 38 miles on Saturday.  I heard there were around 160 boats.  Sails filled the river.

wow.  I have a few pics, but I'm not really sure how to make them appear in this space.  If you could give me a hint or two, I could do that.  Maybe.   ???

to post photos, the easiest thing to do is get a flickr account (at flickr.com)

upload your pictures there, then copy the image location.

go to the thread you would like to post in, hit the 'reply' button instead of the 'quick reply'

above the line of smilies, the second button from the right is the 'insert graphic' button.

click on it  and these two brackets will appear.

in between these two brackets, paste your image location.
And now abide faith, hope and love; these three, but the greatest of these is love

also, when getting the image location,  right click onto the image and choose "copy image location"

thats the one that will display.

It will look like this:

and you have to erase the question mark and everything after it. so that its like this:

Nice shots.  Its neat to see so many sail boats up and down the river every year.

Isn't this race the longest freshwater sail boat race in the world?

That's what it says on the Tee Shirts.  We claim it is.  Others dispute it...

And it is great to see the river used as it should be.  One of the best ways to save the river, is to use the river.
