While crossing the street from the LPS building to the BCBS building occupants on an SUV yelled to my co-worker and I that a cyclist had just been hit, down the block at Riverside and Forrest. While our other co-workers called 911 we ran to see if we could offer assistance. By the time we got there Everbank security started blocking traffic and said 911 had been called and an ambulance was on it's way.The female victim was laying motionless for a while then eventually sat up as the sounds of the ambulance drew near. We left as the ambulance approached but I'm still a bit shaken by the event. Please be careful out there.
