Baby oil on a cotton ball removes paint from skin very gently and thoroughly

Big Cheese,  Please thank your kids for us for helping out.  The more hands we have on the school maintenance the better and all are much appreciated.

PM me the next time you need paint.

^ Absolutely!   Thank you so much, Big Cheese.

At this point, believe there will be a few more people on hand next Saturday.

):  A little damage was done on the column.  Looks like someone threw paint? or something like it.
Autumn has gone commando.  (!! year old grand)She has some big, nasty plans for retaliation.  They are very scary.  The nicest thing I can say is that she has declared WAR on taggers.

Hell hath no fury like a roused 'tween!  LOL!  When someone retags something you have cleaned up it gets personal real fast.

And Autumn is a very pretty name for a girl.

Big Cheese, Please thank Autumn for us . I will thank her personally when I meet her.  We really appreciate her enthusiasm and I certainly feel her despair over the column getting re-tagged.   Will have paint on hand on Saturday.

Unfortunately with this building ( and many other abandoned ones )  some people like to continue the defacing, tagging, vandalism.   It is nearly a certainty that more tagging will appear.

Will be working at Annie on Saturday.. about 9 am for anyone who wishes to help . Thanks so much.

Hooray for today!
Timkin, along with Carol and Trish met us today.  We did more clean up in the front entry.  Tim and I were surprised to find that under all the dirt and debris there were linoleum floors.  Can't wait for next Saturday!!

The clean out is under way.    We gained 3 wonderful volunteers today.  Unfortunately , we also lose Carol, one of our devoted volunteers who has done most of the photography since last June.  Life changes require her to change locations, and we will all miss her immensely.

Big Cheese speaks truth.  There actually IS a  tile floor underneath the junk, wood debris, trash , broken glass .  The entrance hallway was cleared, as was a very good start on both of the offices and the electrical room .  A great start to an enormous undertaking on the interior clean up.

We wanted to thank Tim and all his volunteers for what they are fighting so hard to do.  They are making a stand at #4 and I/we plan to do as much as I/we can to be a part of it.
Much love and thanks to everyone involved!
