I just think this is one of those issues where no one wants to recognize that the real crime here is homosexuality.

The most awkward places to urinate, in my opinion, were always those facilities with trough urinals.  I remember being struck pee shy when I was a kid going to the restroom at the old Gator Bowl and when I went to a theme park in Ohio.  I understand that they are easier to keep clean, but they are not the best friend of those with a shy bladder brought upon by the lack of privacy...

this was my thought exactly.  but you can see from the photos that the gentleman in question might not be the most tech savvy age group.

I called and asked a fairly accomplished sexualist friend the same question, and he (with a female chiming in) said that the reason people meet up in these areas is that they might not want to bring the evening adventure into their own homes or give away home addresses.

I suppose there is a certain logic to it.

I would guess that heterosexual activity in public does occur - but it is usually involving an exchange of money.  And, like a previous poster said, a lot of gays are closeted and do not want to expose their own homes (and possibly) families to someone who could turn to blackmail or whatever.  I would also guess that heterosexual anonymous sex is more likely to be brought to a motel, hotel or even home because there is a lot less scrutiny placed on a woman pulling away from his house at night as opposed to a man doing the same thing...I guess it depends on how close knit the community is, too...

Would we want anyone of any age to be forced to see sex acts performed in a public park?  That said, life happens and although we cannot completely control what happens around us, we can control our reaction.  For example, if I were walking with a group of children in the park and we saw two people engaged in a sex act, I would immediately escort the children away from the scene and would contact the proper authorities.  I would try my best to stay calm and communicate with my superiors to ensure that this matter is handled appropriately.  Not the end of the world, however...  Don't get me wrong, though.  I still think that this kind of behavior is not appropriate...

Club Jacksonville........... I was surprised to hear that there was something described as a "bath house" in Jacksonville, so I looked into it to see if that was the case.  What I found was very surprising.  This is a 'workout facility' with a pool, hot tub, sun deck and steam room.  Ok, sounds fair enough.  Then there are the cubicles.  They are described as "private dressing cubicles'.  You rent them 8 hours at a time and they are small rooms with beds in them and mirrors all over the walls.  The last time I got dressed I didn't require a bed and it took far less than 8 hours..........  I find it quite surprising that San Marco houses a complex that is so overtly for 'hooking up'.  How widely known is this place??
