Bicycle/car accident on hendricks a few weeks back?

Did anyone ever see any followup on the car+bicycle accident that happened right by the railroad tracks on hendricks a few weeks back? I know the cyclist was taken away in critical condition but never heard more about how the accident happened or what became of the rider.

I just went to find the original article and found they'd updated it since:

Looks like it was Saturday the 17th, cyclist was killed.

Didn't want to start a new thread, but random question: Does anyone know anything about a motorcycle accident that occured on Saturday afternoon on Beach Blvd, between Kernan and Hodges? My wife was driving westbound on Beach at about 3:00 PM when a motorcycle flew by her, darting between traffic at about 90 mph. An SUV made a routine turn across Beach Blvd, and by that point, it was way too late for the motorcycle to slow down. Anyway, my wife was almost 100% sure the motorcyclist was killed instantly, and has been wondering for the last two days if the people in the SUV were ok. Strangely though, I can't find a word about the accident anywhere. Literally nothing.

I was jogging around the Beach & Kernan area Saturday afternoon and remember seeing traffic backed up for miles on Beach, and plenty of lights flashing in the distance closer to Wal-Mart.  I figured it must have been a heck of a wreck.  I haven't seen anything in the news either.
