1. Yacht Club, middle of the week in the summer in the morning at the pool.

New deck pavers, new coating inside the pool, as well as new deck chairs should make the experience more pleasurable.

High dive off of the floaters into the River would make our locale super-awesome. Also, $1 beers before 2pm.

I guess membership has it's privleges.  :D  I guess as an outsider, my only entry in the members only area would be after I beat you by 10 stokes or more (handicap allowing)....  Anyone want to play for a few beers at the track they call Timuquana?

The cab of a Florida East Coast SD-70-2 Super Mac diesel blasting past 'The Pig' on Old St. Augustine Road.
Jacksonville Terminal when it's empty... I can still see the faces and listen to the ghosts.
Yellow Bluff Confederate Fort in New Berlin (almost under that fancy big bridge at Dames Point) walking among the trees and thinking what it must have been like when my ancestors blew the hell out of the USS Alice Price, and shot up a few other ships...

Yeah, it's a big city but even those of us with a twist to our likes and loves can find our niche.
"...“The Secretary of War wants to know how you intend to prosecute the Pacific War?”
“Tell the Secretary I’ve already met with the Japanese, and we’ve decided to divide the Pacific Ocean 50/50, our ships will get the top, their ships will get the bottom."

1)Memorial Park- best place to people watch on a busy day.

The last two times I've made the trip out to Memorial Park (this weekend being the most recent), it's been closed.

Really frustrating.

Love it when it's open though :)

Even an FSU fan can figure out how to get into Memorial Park.  It's open every day.  Have you been to Riverside?
