I hate the catergory "MIA/SO Fla"; Yeah, that's freakin' pretty vague; It guess South Florida goes to Palm Coast! Take cred for your OWN city, not your own region. MIA has THREE F-500's; Ft Laudie and freakin Palm Beach or whatever doesn't count. Sounds like a "Duvaller" downplaying his city again.
Anyway, concernin Jax, I hope that Steinmart can once again be a F-1000 next year; WD and CSX are mainstays; The Fidelity Complex, hopefully the morgage woes in the country/ state will quickly go away, to help them out. Man if Panama Beach, G-ville and Tally could get some F-500's, We(NO FLA) would be UNSTOPPABLE!!!!

Thanks for breaking it down by city and county. I remember reading a while back that the Fedility expansion put the City of Jax in the lead.

In the top 10, #3 thru #6 are all in Southeast Florida, five in top ten total.
To it's credit, Jax comes in strong with 4 companies within #9 - #14.

The CSX Center with a train circling the top of the stadium. We could blow a train whistle every time we score. Our defense could lower the crossing gate on the other teams drives.

Not only do the create jobs and the tax base on which we all enjoy the bebefits of culturally, they have the deep pockets of charity and support of the arts. Without the F500 companies we are Starke. If you do not understand the positive impact then you do not get it. There are not 2 sides.

Well perhaps your school of thought is not pro growth. Say you enjoy where you live, but you don't like big companies coming in, because that means more people, and it ads congestion to your roads you travel everyday. Or perhaps you disagree with big business completely because you believe that they are only out there for the bottom line to make money, and not to provide a product or service at a reasonable price.

The beginning of your reply suggests economic stagnation. Stagnant cities slowly decline. The second half of your reply simply does not make sense. If a business does not provide a desired product or service at a reasonable price it will not be around very long. The bottom line even for small business is to make money.
