Miles?  The lots that once housed buildings on Park and the historic church are now full of tall grass.

Great updates! Does anyone happen to have any more photos of Kings Ave Station that they'd be willing to post?

Are we talking about the "Station" or the "station?" Joe, are you looking for the hotel or skyway?

I believe Joe is asking for more images of the hotel development.

Are there any updates on the Bay Street project over by the convention center?

No.  Its still in the conceptual phase.  If it moves forward, ground breaking is still at least a year away.

Re: Downtown Construction Update - June 2008

In response to the Miles development Project in the Brooklyn area. There was a group of 20 or so that was at Oak st. and Dora st. There was at least one rep. of Miles Development. They were looking at a planned Storm Drain line coming from the Stonewall st and Park st development (Miles), coming "up" west on Oak st, then left on Dora st towards the Retention Pond (Hallmark Partners?) at Riverside and Forest st. This was about 3-4 weeks ago, and then a few contractors were there a week later and said they were bidding on the project. This is strange to me that it is uphill, I would guess about 6-8 feet in elevation. I believe this is going to be a 6 foot diameter pipe and have to be 10 -13 feet underground at the crest of Oak st. In my opinion, if this project gets underway, I would say both projects would be a go.

Thanks for jogging my memory.  I had kind of forgotten this project.  I hope it gets off the ground.  This will add connectivity and points of interest.
