The deal is set to close today that will allow Main Branch, LLC to purchase the Hayden Burns Library from the city.  There are still no guarantees for what Main Branch plans on using the building for.  A grocery store/mixed use facility has been speculated, but rumor has it there may be parking issues with putting a grocery store in this area.

 
The Park View Inn

Downtown's premiere eyesore is scheduled to get a complete renovation commencing in approximately 6 months. The Park View Inn will be converted into condos and we are told the exterior will completely change. No details on pricing yet. This is great news for both Downtown and Springfield.

 The Strand Goes Condo?

The tallest new apartment highrise on the Southbank, The Strand, has announced they are now being sold as condominiums.  Units will start from the low 200s.  Scheduled completion of the building is set for later this year.
