Finally, the City does something that makes sense in Transporation... Now, if we could just convince them that an Unfinished Skyway, Bus (only)  Mall, and BRT, are all Stupid plans. Finish the skyway to Riverside/5 Points, Springfield, Stadium and San Marco, tie itīs ends to bus routes with stations that resemble mini-transit-centers. Add Amtrak, Commuter Rail DMUīs , North over the LRT line and beyond to Fernandina Beach, South to St. Augustine and Green Cove Springs, West to Baldwin (with a possible Gainesville link in the future).  Light Rail (LRT) Across downtown East-West (Transportation Center-Stadium) North into Springfield/Airport, South into San Marco/San Jose, East over New Matthews bridge to Regency/Beaches... Look at electric busses as downtown shuttles and shift the diesel fleet to the end point s of the mini-transit-centers to range farther out. How hard can this be to figure out?
