We've heard all of the negative stories, but there is positive activity taking place on or near Springfield's main commercial corridors.

Just south of 5th and Main on the east side of the street. It's one of the few properties on that block NOT owned by Chris H.

We also have a new computer company opening up in the ground floor of the SPAR building. There are other things afoot too that cant be reveled just yet...

It looks like the Rubin Iron Works, adjacent to the old Springfield rail yard on Carmen Street, is preparing to expand.

I will post some info on it later. I don't think the owner has specific plans, (imagine someone who actually has interest in saving the building which had a caved in roof!) but Im not positive.

i have interest, but not the money. i guess i'm about as useful as someone with enough money, but no interest.
