On May 3, 2006, two members of Metro Jacksonville spoke at the Southside Businessmen's Club meeting at the University Club downtown. About 60 SSBMC members showed up for the meeting. Topics covered by the speakers included a history of Metro Jackonville's formation and past and current activities of Metro Jacksonville.
