On Tuesday, the Jacksonville City Council selected its leadership and voted unanimously to elect Councilman Daniel Davis as Council President and Councilman Ronnie Fussell as Vice President.

Davis was elected to the City Council to represent District 12 (Westside) in 2003, and ran unopposed in 2007.

Fussell was elected to the City Council in 2005 as the At Large representative from group One.  He was elected during a special election that also saw Jerry Holland get elected Supervisor of Elections.  He ran for his job unopposed in the 2007 election.
