Metro Jacksonville Exclusive Interview with Mike Weinstein

We were able to catch up with Mike Weinstein for a few minutes near the end of his campaign kick-off meeting at the Prime Osbourne Convention Center Tuesday night.

We had a few questions in regards to Mike's thoughts on downtown Jacksonville and the city's budget. Weinstein discusses the state of downtown, the homeless population downtown, obstacles facing downtown business owners, the failed construction of the new courthouse, and the city budget.

Stay tuned, as tomorrow we will have Weinstein's entire 12 minute kick-off speech.

So what has Peyton Done to deserve re-election ?

If Weinstein finished what has been started (or more accurately, has NOT been started) and addressed the homeless problem, that would be at LEAST TWO things Peyton has shown himself incapable of doing.

He has until the end of March to provide some details as to how this will happen. I have no doubt that he will.
