Wow. Brillant video. Just to clear some things up for Peyton and JTA, regarding BRT and commuter rail. Commuter and light rail are two completely different systems. Commuter rail travels on existing railroad tracks. Because of this, commuter rail cost between $2 to $10 million per mile compared with JTA's BRT (estimated to cost $21 million/mile in 2004) or light rail ($30 to $40 million/mile). Also Ottawa's BRT system, which is promoted by JTA as a what they envision ours to be, cost nearly $50 million/mile.
